Shamanic Journeys

The conscious mind is the part we use to make decisions, it judges whether we like something or not, and decides the activities we choose to do. The subconscious stores all our past experiences from before we were born. It is a vast reservoir of events, some of which we can remember and some we can no longer access, but all are still part of who we are.

In a shamanic journey we can travel through the subconscious part of the mind to reclaim experiences that have been forgotten or lost and to understand their significance in our lives today. Events that have occurred in our past can still hold sway over the way we live our lives, the way in which we act in relationships and the choices we make.

Shamanism is a spiritual system. It is not a religion. It is based on the concept that we are all one with everything. We are all spirit. We have the ability and right to connect with the worlds of spirit. In the shamanic world view, everything is alive and conscious.

I am able to take clients on shamanic journeys. I use my voice and a drum to guide you on an internal journey. The beat of the drum alters the thought pattern and allows you to enter the subconscious part of your mind, where all your experiences throughout your lives have been stored. By working in this way it allows for new experiences to arise and habitual patterns to be altered. The ritual of this journey is a very powerful way of releasing old patterns and setting intentions for the future.

Intuitive Healing

For those who are unfamiliar with healing, it works on the understanding that we are more than just our physical body and mind. We also have an energetic body that surrounds our physical body and connects to it through chakras. Chakras are spheres of energy within our physical body, which link into our energetic body. Each chakra has different qualities and there are 7 main chakras. During healings the therapist connects to a universal energy system. They act as a channel between this energy and the person receiving the healing, so that they receive energy wherever they need it on a physical, mental or spiritual level. The energy is received into the energetic body and it filters through to their physical body and mind, having a direct effect on their health and well being. Healing is able to clear energies from you that are no longer required and are ready to be released, or perhaps energies that you have picked up from people or places that are not really yours.

The healings often focus around aiding clients through present changes in their lives. Such as overcoming their fears or seeing where they are blocked or stuck in areas of their lives and to helping to remove these blocks. Clients most commonly come to me for a healing when they realise that things are not right in their lives and are ready to look at this and to change things. Healings can also bring to light someone's potential and offer them a place to set intentions for the future.

For me, all of life provides a lesson, a mirror of oneself to see within that which is hidden from our view. Through the healings and shamanic journeys I am able to help you to see within yourself and to break down illusions - thought patterns or ways of habitually living life that are learnt and are not really who you are inside.
